The more your child is prepared for life, the more he will excel in life. Traditional Karate will focus on the BODY, MIND, SPIRIT of your child.

It’s a great physical activity and self-defence training. Your child will develop mental toughness and better concentration and discipline. His or her spirit will grow stronger, improving self-confidence and self-esteem. Our curriculum is age-appropriate; our instructors are professionals; and our kid’s programmes are GREAT FUN!!!

Sensei Dirk has two of his own kids and loves working with and aspiring the kids to give their best. He started Karate at the age of seven. He got his junior black belt at the age of twelve and took part in his first South African All Styles Tournament that year. He was captain of that junior team and got a 4th place in fighting.

Sensei Dirk took part in Karate competitions till the age of 37 and became SA Champion twice and also won a silver and bronze medal at the 2007 WSKF World Champs in Japan. Who better to teach you and guide your child to owning a degree that’s not only worn around your waist but can be added to a CV for the rest of your life?

Beginners learn various aspects of traditional karate. Physical fitness, Body strength, Discipline, Respect, Determination, and Perseverance. Life long bonds and relationships often form through their karate training.
